Something sweet for a change. Last night a lady paid for my grocery item for a hug

So- I always try to be nice. Last night I was waiting to buy a single roasted chicken behind an elderly black lady with a gazillion things in her cart. I helped her get things she couldn't reach on the line. She dropped her pen and I picked it up. She paid for my chicken. I asked if I could help her to her car she said she didn't have a care she just wanted a hug

I was worried she didn't have enough money. She kept saying she was shopping for a month. I was so shocked when she told the cashier to add my chicken in.


There is goodness in the world. If everyone was kind to each other and told the truth just think of how we could be.
