Thomas Green, Rick Gates's supposedly fired attorney, prepared the response to the motion

for the judge's approval of the 3 attorneys' withdrawal that will be considered in court tomorrow.

But Betsy Woodruff of the Daily Beast is sticking by her story that Green himself has been fired.

Could this be more confusing?
