Does trump* have a clue about the percentage of teachers who are military veterans?

I just heard his ridiculous and rambling rationalization about the feasibility of arming teachers because some of them are veterans?? Approximately 2% of Americans have served in the military. Out of that 2%, there are a number (like me) whose time in service involved exposure to pretty much ZERO weaponry. I shot a gun twice - once during basic training and once for some sort of 'qualifying' requirement. The closest estimate I could find is a 1:3 ratio of active duty military with direct combat experience.

And where will the money for psychological screening and ongoing weapons training come from? Or are those not a part of his plan? Who will buy them the weapons? How much will this impact the insurance rates for the schools? Does he EVER think before he speaks??

His statements and actions have proven repeatedly he knows very little.

1 He knows about bankruptcy.

2 He knows how to dodge his taxes.

3 He knows about reality tv.

4 He knows about disclosure statements.

5 He knows about divorce.


Those are his strong points.

How sad is that ???

But more than his personal ignorance - there's all stuff we don't know - is his ignorance of his own ignorance. In other words, he doesn't know jack shit, but thinks he knows a lot.

the power that the presidency can wield is a very, very dangerous situation for the country. Needless to say, these are some damn scary times!
