Dummy says deterrence by armed people in the school will keep the cowards at bay. True enough, but only the cowards not all the rest.

Knowing that adults are possibly armed will ensure that they get shot first. For someone who doesn't care if they live or die, getting killed is not all that much a deterrence.

I guess, just guessing, that Donnie has personal experience in cowardice in order to be so expert. I wonder, just wondering if his expertise in mental illness is obtained in a similar manner.
