I said it in another thread :

We should all, not only the US but anywhere in the world, learn from this disaster.

Anyone who wants to lead a country must prove he has the capacities. At least, knowing the national and international institutions, the rules, a rough history time line, a mental stability, a minimum of knowledge.

We live in a global world interconnected 7/24h. We cannot anymore give to any unhinged ignorant, the power to destroy what have been painfully built.

Couldn't have said it better! I continually find it baffling how someone could make it through life this far with no knowledge of history - or even cultural norms! His latest new idea is that there should be a rating system for movies!

He has nothing more important to think of ?

It's official : we're living in The Twilight Zone !

Good Lord ! Rating movies now...

I wonder what will historians in the future, think of us, of our era ?

It already has, but it will get even worse. He, and those currently running things, are rapidly dismantling and defunding everything that is good, while promoting all that is bad.

In this last year I've become grateful that I will never have grandchildren. I don't think I could bear to think about what they will endure 50 years from now.

... equal reaction. America will correct itself, rid itself of its evil racist ilk--not through violence or hate, but through our persistence to be kind, respectful and caring towards one another.

I often hear repubs say they are being forced to be politically correct..being decent human beings is just that-common decency. Ironically, those who criticize, decency for the sake of decency or "PC" are the very individuals who espouse Christian values, yet fail to practice what they preach.
