I initially thought the Dems and I were finally going to get what we have been screaming for...a separate, independent investigation like there was after 9/11. That would be transparent (findings open to the public), fully funded and staffed, relatively quick, and most important NON PARTISAN! The GOP couldn't derail it which is what they are doing right here with this news article.

Mueller can be fired at any time. Then what? The investigations in both chambers are partisan so they are useless. What about 15 Fem reps have already proposed in bills over the past year is a commission that is NON PARTISAN. Of course McConnell and Ryan don't want that. This type of investigation would make partisan interference impossible.

So they must know that at least something in the Steele dossier is factual, and if it's revealed, Trump, and lots of Republicans are probably going to be indicted. What are they trying to hide?
