Marjory Stoneman Douglas H.S. Walk for Solidarity, March 10, 2018
How to help Stoneman Douglas families
<contra-snip>
Students and teachers from South Florida schools will walk hand-in-hand from North Community Park, 5601 Coral Springs Drive, Coral Springs, on March 10 from 3-5 p.m. to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, in a show of solidarity for the victims of the attack on MSD and an outcry for change. Teachers, students and parents are encouraged to wear their own schools uniform or colors to show the unity across student communities throughout the area and to let the country know that not only MSD students, but students and teachers across the nation, are demanding school safety. This event was organized by several Stoneman Douglas students and students from other schools in Broward and Palm Beach counties. There will be speakers after the walk.

The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High Schools website says they have received such an overwhelming amount of mail and response for their request of banners that they ask the public not to send any more at this time.
Since so many people from around the world have extended offers of support since Feb. 14,
Broward County Public Schools set up an online form for those who would like to offer further support services or in-kind donations to MSD. Go to
