(19,838 posts)...having been confirmed by congress as a bi-partisan choice to replace Pence after Pence is convinced to step down instead of being impeached either before or after Trump's pending impeachment.
(If not Kasich, some other elder, "centrist"* republican like Romney that Democrats would concede to in order to sweep out Trump and Pence and restore some regular order.)
*I know... "centrist" republican...
