Snowed a little overnight and has been snowing heavily for the past few hours. I work for a school and am having a snow day but DH is at work. He has a 4WD and is pretty fearless about driving in crud.
Last Friday was horrible. The forecast was for rain so everyone was at school or work. At 10 am it started absolutely dumping snow and no one was prepared. Some kids didn’t get home on the school bus til 8 pm. The district next to ours kept some kids and teachers in the school overnight. Many trees down and power outages (not my house thankfully). Don’t think this one is going to be anywhere nearly as bad. I’m in PA suburbs an hour north of Philly.

Southwest NH.

Flurries. Forecast indicates it gets serious at about 3:00 pm, and stays that way until Thursday night.

The weirdly warm days do not make up for this.

We are not amused!

late last night but didn't start till about 11:00am this morning. In fact, very early this morning all the news shows were featuring interviews with folks in the street saying, "Where's the snow?" Well, it's coming down fast and furious now --- whipped around by lots of wind. Pretty low visibility too. Glad my work and commuting days are over.

I guess Mother Earth had to crack down on us after the spoiling warm February.

Multiple transformers blew up on main route to my house, so I’m probably screwed for days.

west and north. It rained a bit, but not bad. However it just started snowing now and is coming down in big, heavy flakes. It's supposed to continue all night. I am kind of wondering what I am going to wake up to. The predictions have all been so off, there is no telling what to expect.

Hope all is well with you, malaise!
