Listening just now to MSNBC, Joe Scarborough and his guest discussing how this went down.

Paraphrasing: Trump was desperate to change the headlines. He heard about the letter. He jumped on it and agreed without discussing it with anyone. Without input from his foreign policy advisors, without notifying the Pentagon, AND while Sec. of State Tillerson was sleeping. He come into the press room and said "7:00 - big announcement, be there.." Completely without any regard for protocol......Scarborough called it Monty Hall "Let's Make A Deal" diplomacy and was of the opinion that this was a desperate need for a photo op and to get Stormy Daniels out of the headlines.

There was universal skepticism of this resulting in anything positive.

We should all be very frightened as once again we are witness to the fact the Trump is an ignorant buffoon with no understanding of what it means to be the President of The United States.

I honestly don't think trump can make it worse, and he and Little Kim MIGHT hit it off. They are a lot alike.

That's what trump is counting on. In the coming weeks, he'll likely "embrace" more liberal policies. It's only an attempt to affect the new cycle. That's it. Remember his gun meeting with the senators? He talked about standing up to the NRA, he talked about banning bump stocks through executive order. What did he end up doing? Absolutely nothing. How many times are we going to allow one man to distract and gaslight?
