Ten-year-old Tybre Faw drove with his grandmother for seven hours from Tennessee to Alabama with the hopes of meeting his icon. Rep. Lewis spotted the young man as he was leaving the event and stopped to speak with him. Faws sign caught Lewis eye. It read:Thank you Rep. John Lewis

(11,563 posts)That boy's hero probably faced Bloody Sunday before the boy's mother was born. Incredibly moving that he would be so enthralled with someone like that. Totally appropriate and deserving, but still incredible.
