(20,876 posts)It was extensive and two of the workers were from Mexico. I don't know if they were legal or what and I did not ask nor do I care.
They did a fine job fixing up the house and my puke neighbors were hiding in the bushes looking at them. One of the workers waved at them!
That said, this shows what valuable people immigrants are. I am married to an immigrant myself and he has had one hard life. Immigrants to this country have nothing but my utmost respect!
These people that criticize need to look in the mirror!

(25,862 posts)house from the cleaning service I use are immigrants. I'm going to guess they're here legally because they are employed by a large national company. I am extremely grateful they are willing to do that work.
Also, I'm in the midst of a multi-year project to get my front and back yards relandscaped, and those workers are also immigrants, without a doubt.
