I will be glad to send him a dozen of handkerchiefs of the best quality, if that can help getting rid of him...

PS : when I checked the spelling, it gave me "handkerchiefs" as plural. I have written "handkerchieves". I have learned the plural of words ending by "ief" is "ieves".

What is the correct plural ? Thanks for helping.

Ah ! That's why...

And everyone knows that brains are like milk : it's not good to shake them to much...

Shaking hardens them and makes them less (or not at all) operational.
