I'm so very proud. And proud of the THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS who are there, who are marching in their home towns, and those who are sitting in class and thinking good thoughts for the survivors.

(3,557 posts)I get called a hero from time to time because of my military awards and conduct in combat, but I just did what I was supposed to. People - like your kids - who stand against the statusquo in an effort to make real change are the real heroes.
Good job being a parent! I hope to emulate your example with my own children. (I have two girls, aged 7 and 9 that Im sure are going to grow up and be wonderful people).
