Illinois DUers: Can you give us a preview of Tuesday's primaries?

Two key questions:

1. Who will win the primaries for Governor and Attorney General?

2. Is Lipinksy done? If so, is the district safely blue?

1. Here is my take:

Democratic Gubinatoral nominee: JB Pritkzer
Attorney General: Nancy Rotering
Lpinski survives his challange, very purple district, but he wins in November.

2. It appears to be Pritzker (D) and Brauner (R) for Govenor

Not a resident of IL but my daughter is and knows the Pritzker family well.

3. JB Pritzker and Pat Quinn are favored.

Quinn probably gets AG nod on name recognition alone, the other candidates haven't done much to get their names out there. I honestly can't recall a single one off hand here.

In the governor's race Kennedy has been flailing and seems a sure bet for third place, Biss has been making a run at it, but I don't think he can stand up to JB's fortune.

Not sure about Lipinsksy, but I wouldn't bet against him. Either way the seat is incredibly safe, I believe nearly half the district is within Chicago city limits.

4. Glad to hear about Kennedy

I lived there for 10 years and did not like his actions on the board of regents. Imperial.
