(9,670 posts)When he said that Hannity and the rest of the opinion side of FOX were not in any way, shape or form required to rely on FACTS in their reporting. There are ZERO journalistic standards being applied to Sean Hannity. Nada. He is permitted to say whatever he wants to say, primarily lies, since it's his opinion and he's free to express one.
HOWEVER, try explaining that to the sheep that foolishly believe otherwise, and base their opinions and votes on lies, distortions and propaganda, imagining them to be facts that only Sean Hannity had the mettle to uncover.
Imagine if MSNBC had a commentator that spent an hour a day making shit up.
I thank my lucky stars that our side doesn't play that game. I wish there was an FCC requirement that opinion-based programming be disclosed as such, boldly and loudly. In this age of real news being downplayed as "fake", if we're not careful, the 1st amendment will be the noose with which we hang ourselves.

Fox Noise opinion programs are not even opinion programs. They are orchestrated lies and innuendo made up to placate the hates and fears of the radical right wing.
Do you like that better, Sean?
