https://www.rawstory.com/2018/03/gop-strategist-stuns-msnbc-host-trump-shocker-going-fire-mueller-republicans-will-nothing/

“Here’s what’s going to happen, I’m going to go out on a limb,” Tyler began. “The president has calculated now — and I think it’s true — is the reaction from the Republicans. He is going to fire Robert Mueller. And you know what’s going to happen? Nothing. That’s what’s going to happen. There will be no response from Republican leadership, from Congress.”

Tyler continued as the other guests looked on in amazement.

“He is now going about — the reason to fire [former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe], the reason to deny him his retirement is he has to discredit him,” Tyler said. “And he has to systematically discredit everybody who’s involved in this Russia investigation. And he has now seen that he can do these things without any recourse. The Congress is not going to reign him in.”

If Trump is innocent let the facts demonstrate that.
If the facts are unreasonably biased against Trump it's Trump's lawyer's job to reveal that.

If Trump is guilty he must suffer the consequences.

I don't see how any justice could take a defendants wild claim of innocence as holding more weight than the results of a full investigation.
But the court is so politicized I'm sure many of the justices would side with Trump simply because he's Republican. To hell with the Constitution or our justice system.

By 2020, he will have successfully destroyed any resistance to his agenda. He will be further emboldened to do wildly illegal things, and there will be nobody to stop him. Every day will be a Constitutional crisis, but nobody in the current government will care.

In the short term, Trump can fire Mueller with absolutely no consequences. Most of his party will praise the decision, even knowing that he's guilty. I believe that he will very soon, which the American public will forget about a week or two after it happens. There will be one big protest, but then everything will slip back to "normal" very quickly.

Dodart’s plan is to continue to discredit Mueller and key witnesses. Which he has done quite a bit of already. He also played the scenario out to a subpoena level where dodart continues to stall refuse right up to the Supreme Court which some on the panel said it may take up to a year, others said no, that SCOTUS would expedite the case.

David Cay Johnson said he agreed, that this is what he has done his entire life with little or no consequence. But, he also added that even thou right now his plan is working, it would only be for the short term.

So.. I just felt like I got kicked in the gut listening to there expert opinions, but am reminding myself..... keep your eyes on the prize.. hold on!!! He will be taken down, removed from office, either by the vote or by his crimes.

Tue Mar 20, 2018, 08:24 AM
Mar 2018

and Pruitt will then fire Rosenstein and Sessions.

Huge protest marches will take place around the country, but the GOP in Congress will do nothing except wring their hands and issue a few sternly worded tweets.

Democrats will win back the House and re-hire Mueller to lead their own investigation (if they can do that?) - Republicans will get a huge influx of Koch, Mercer and NRA money and hold on to the Senate.

Democrats hold hearings broadcast live on TV and people like Kushner and the Trump kids embarrass themselves on TV and stab each other in the back. Bannon, Nunberg and a few others then testify that Trump Sr knew all along and Mueller pulls out recordings of Trump Sr himself managing the Russian collusion. Democrats begin the impeachment process.

Finally, in late 2019/early 2020 with Trump polling in the high teens/low 20s, the GOP in Congress start turning on him in hopes of salvaging the presidency for 2020. Susan Collins and a few other Senate Republicans approach Trump to resign and he refuses, a la Goldwater approaching Nixon, but Trump refuses.

Trump is indicted by the House with almost half the Republicans voting to indict. The Senate then convicts Trump with 69/70 votes. Trump refuses to go and then is removed forcibly by US Marshalls. Trump is then indicted on many counts for money laundering, conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to commit cyber crimes, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, etc, etc.

Republicans run a Flake/Kasich ticket, but lose bigly in 2020 as Democrats add Texas, Georgia and Arizona to their list of states won, and also win back PA, MI and Wisconsin as Democrats also retake the senate and pick up seats in the House.

He will bail for some excuse and will claim victory. He may run into trouble in New York because there aren't any protections there that he has at the Federal level and once he leaves office. I do not expect that much more will come from the Mueller investigation if Trump does leave office. Democrats often will want to focus on "moving on", though I think that they should continue any legal action if they are in a position to do it. Trump has to be made an example of for future GOP idiots who want to use the Presidency as a personal enrichment scheme and who help adversaries in order to get money and power.

I think that Trump's brands will continue to falter and all of his "allies" will shrink back, leaving him exposed as the joke that he is. That will be what ultimately gets him. I think he will fall victim to some "mysterious accident" and be found dead as his world crumbles around him.
