Olsen's ideology would be best described as the Federalist Society

(130,974 posts)If he doesn't decline, and signs on, I suspect a short-lived relationship, as trump can't adhere to any rules/guidelines likely required by Olson.

(31,261 posts)He helped win the legal fight for LGBTQ rights, and has been fighting for one or two other causes that progressives support. I have issues for what he has stood for, but he does seem to have some integrity, I will be surprised if he joins Trump's legal team and would be surprised to see him stay if the does. A better choice for Trump would be the lawyer who is always fighting for rightwing causes before the Supreme Court, the guy Olsen helped beat (with Ço-help from democratic super lawyer David Boies) in the LGBTQ rights case.
