You Wonder What The Chances Are The US Will Become Unglued At Some Point.

The stridency of our politics seems to be grown. And it is particularly strident and contentious when you talk about gun control policies. We are in a place nationally on the political front that we have not been in in a long time.

aren’t contiguous. Put together, they would make a dandy state that could be called Redneckistan or Bangthedesk or something. That’s one big chunk of idiots that could be kept in one big kennel, and the rest of us could get on with our lives.

The question was "do you believe there is a Deep State?" I think. The first round of answers indicated No, but then respondents had the term explained to them. After hearing an explanation, 74% said Yes, there are unelected persons with too much control over national policies.

The round table said this type of belief causes breakdown of democracies because it allows demagogues like trump to impose false messages.
