Congress ideology

All this talk about Dan Lipinski made me look up where he stood on the issues. It led me to this website where I found an interesting graph for all Senators and Representatives. It seems like the Senate is well balanced with liberals, moderates, conservatives, and down right right wingers. I was shocked to see that the House was so right. Yeah I know Republicans control the House, but their members are really right wing. While the Dems don’t have many ultra liberal people. Most of the Dems we do have are liberal, but not as liberal as Republicans are conservatives. Charts on bottom of site.

and seeing who stood where.

Of course I would like to see more liberal people in the House. But they have to suit their districts in order to be elected. We have to keep working with them to make them see our views.
