I watch Faux News so that you don't have to. And this was their coverage of Trump's appointment of infamous crackpot, and Captain Kangaroo look alike John 'Yosemite Sam' Bolton to be his new National Security Advisor.

Did they cover Bolton's record? No.
Did they cover his background? No.
Did they cover his 'qualifications' for the job? No
Did they recant his bizarre history as ACTING U.S. Ambassador to the U.N.? No.
Did they mention WHY Bush was never able to CONFIRM him as U.S. Ambassador. (Hint: it's because EVEN THE REPUBLICANS in the Senate thought he was a nutcase...) No.

They spent the entire week playing clips of the hosts on MSNBC and CNN having a meltdown over Bolton's appointment.

That's right....apparently, according to Fox, Bolton's number one qualification for the job is that he drives 'LIBERALS,' and other rational people nuts! The fact that he does that makes him popular with the Fox News audience, and especially with Trump's base!

Chris Hayes once said that "Trolling is an important component of modern day 'conservatism'" and he was absolutely right. The way Fox News handled their reporting of Bolton's appointment is living proof of that.

Obama fired Michael Flynn...therefore he MUST be good!
Trump drives liberals nuts...therefore HE'S OUR MAN!
Liberals think Bolton is as crazy as a shithouse rat, therefore he'd make an IDEAL national security advisor!
