Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much higher consideration.

It's good to know that the founder of the modern Republican Party agrees with those in the Democratic Party morese than those in the Republican Party. Unless you do all the labor and distribution by yourself, Lincoln would disagree that you "built it all by yourself"...
