We've speculated that McConnell/Ryan are being blackmailed by Russia, but what if

McConnell / Ryan are (also?) blackmailing trump? That would explain why they're sticking with him. Remember how quickly they reined him in last week with the budget bill? And now with the expelled diplomats? Why would they impeach someone that they can control?

The WH has said they still want to work with Russia. They still haven’t enforced the congressional sanctions...the Russian oligarchs mostly care about their money, which is still safe and untouched.
