Tennessee religious leader quits after he allegedly masturbated in front of a black female employee

he leader of a partner ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee resigned after an employee claimed he masturbated in front of her and the organization covered-up the repeated sexual and racial harassment.

James Finchum, the former executive director of Matthew 25, an organization helping homeless men, resigned in February, the Tennessean reported.

Further information was revealed in a federal lawsuit filed by “Jane Doe” against Finchum and Matthew 25.

The lawsuit claimed that in December of 2016, Finchum summoned the employee into his office, started to massage her after which he “grabbed Plaintiff’s hand and placed it on his groin area, through his pants.”

“He then unzipped his pants, exposed his penis to Plaintiff and masturbated in front of her,” the lawsuit claims.

There is always me state, Florida. Sort of like the Alabama-Mississippi thing.

What the guy did was wrong and he should have been fired and not allowed to resign. My suggestion to women is that if they get called into private meetings, figure out a way to take in a smart phone and at minimum have a recording is something inappropriate is done.

I, too, shake my head. Of course, these things happen everywhere, but it seems like TN is coming in second to FL lately.

to get excited and join in?

With the kind of poor judgment shown by the men in so many of these cases, makes you wonder how they ever got employed, not to mention promoted to a position of authority.

He apparently has no regard for anyone who doesn't have his imaginary social status.

I can't believe there is anyone in the world so depraved as to not be disgusted, sickened, and enraged.

Has he discovered a way to insult people and say, "So what are you going to do about it"?

Maybe doing something so vile to others puts the other in the position of realizing if she actually spoke of what happened, she could be shunned, and considered filthy herself for saying such a thing about a fine, established white pillar of the community. Gaslighting.
