There's a huge caveat in the US' expulsion of 60 Russian diplomats

Perhaps this has already been posted? But it seems like some information that DUers might use?

<snip>

The US' expulsion of 60 Russian diplomats in response to a chemical attack on a former Russian spy in the UK, announced earlier this week, has a huge loophole.

A State Department official confirmed that the US will not require Russia to reduce the number of staff in its Washington embassy.

In other words, the 60 diplomats — many of whom were undercover intelligence officers — who were kicked out can be replaced by others.

Targeted expulsions like this week's are not uncommon; the Obama administration's move to expel 35 diplomats in 2016 was made under similar conditions.

This is what she translated the day after the expulsions were announced. So much for the "increased tensions" between Russia & the US. It's all just Kabuki theater.

In your critical analysis, can she be trusted? What is her citizenship? Anymore on her backstory.

I can't find much information (that isn't in Russian) on him, yet he features prominently in the RT news. He also has a twitter account that is rather odd: https://twitter.com/andreynsi I feel like he is a key player in the misinformation game. It also seems like his name is familiar, but I can't place it.

Treasonous b******. He is selling us all out in order to get a building or maintain a certain of wealth status ranking as determined by Forbes.

Since he took off on John McC and the Gold Star family, I started looking at what is not disclosed about his business practices/models. He can't get financing for his projects through the normal investment rules for the US industry. So, he has foreign investors build, then he draws a management fee.

Now, someone says they can increase their staff in Washington. No wonder I've not seen or noted any pictures of the Ambassador visiting the WH about a staff reduction.
