White guys walk into stores and restaurants carrying AR-15s defying anyone to stop them. You'd think police would know that they are the people to be afraid of.

I lived in South Sac and I remember a night when there was a police helicopter flying over our yards, pointing strong lights. They were looking for someone who was supposedly hiding in backyards in the neighborhood. It was very intimidating at the time, but it never dawned on me that they would shoot someone in their own backyard.

Another things that disturbs me is the man they were looking for was smashing car windows. So that justifies executing a suspect? This sort of thing has become far too common.

The criteria for what makes you qualified is that you managed to come back from the Sandbox alive...doesn't matter that you might have PTSD the the military didn't teach you to deal with...
Soldiers DO NOT make good Cops...it's one of the reasons we have Posse Commitatus Law, as far as I'm concerned.

Usually, there's a whole flock of folks getting in front of cameras and microphones to explain what the black guy did that was so wrong, and how if he had just done thus-and-so, the cops wouldn't have had to shoot him. To this point, I haven't seen what Mr. Clark was supposed to have done between the moment the cops (who hadn't identified themselves as cops) shouted "Gun, gun, gun!" and when the bullets started flying. Clark did apparently bleed out in the minutes afterward while the cops did something other than attend to him, so I don't know Clark can be faulted for that.

I know you may find that hard to believe, but I have. OK, I know you won't, but there's a reason for it. They're fucking monsters.

We've now reached the point where a young black father can't even stand in his own grandmother's backyard without the cops swooping in from out of nowhere unannounced and just gunning him down for no reason and with no provocation. It's probably the lowest point in history for race relations between the police and POC.
