If something were "to happen" to Putin and he could no longer serve

as the "fairly elected" president of Russia would another money hungry, cold war enthusiast, American hating Russian leader take his place? Since he and his KGB background have turned Russia into an American power hating country if he were to magically disappear are others waiting to fill his slot or are there Russians who have enough power and support that would elect a president who isn't a corrupt killer?
