Trump Equals Republicans
Being a “glass half full” type of gal, I always look for that silver lining that lurks behind cloudy skies – and even in these troubled times, I am focused on the positive things that can result from the disaster that is Trump.
Trump lies – constantly, repeatedly, and oh, so ignorantly – about anything and everything. He fabricates statistics, pulls so-called “facts” out of his ass, and is too god-damned stupid to know that a quick Google search is all it takes to prove he is lying.
What does that mean for the GOP from now on? It means Republicans = Trump. The GOP never call-out Trump for lying; therefore, they cannot be trusted to tell the truth.
Trump promised that Mexico would pay for a border wall, that he would replace Obamacare with a program that would cover everyone at a lower cost, and that he would wipe-out the nation’s debt. He has accomplished none of the above.
Message received: Trump = Republicans. The GOP will promise things they have no intentions of delivering.
Trump has amply demonstrated his racism, bigotry, xenophobia and misogyny.
Message received: Trump = Republicans. The GOP is the party of racists, bigots, xenophobes and misogynists.
Trump has appointed Cabinet members who have zero experience, expertise, or even a fundamental knowledge of the areas they are meant to oversee.
Message received: Trump = Republicans. The GOP has zero regard for whether those who head our government agencies/departments are competent to do so.
Trump has disrespected, maligned, and insulted our country’s allies while kissing Putin’s ass, has handed classified information to our enemies, and has done everything possible to undermine our national security.
Message received: Trump = Republicans. The GOP doesn’t care if our pOTUS is a puppet of the Russians, or if our relationships with our allies are weakened or destroyed.
Trump’s White House staff, Cabinet picks, appointees and advisors are being shuffled, fired and/or resigning at an alarming pace.
Message received: Trump = Republicans. The GOP is the party of bad decisions, incompetence, and complete chaos. They are not fit to govern.
Trump spends his days watching TV, playing golf, and tweeting vitriol towards his personal enemies, while contradicting his own statements on a daily basis and announcing “policies” that have no basis in factual information – or even common sense.
Message received: Trump = Republicans. The GOP is comprised of lazy idiots whose only interest in holding office is living high on the hog on the taxpayers’ dime, “getting back” at those who oppose them, and have absolutely no interest in “facts” (or yet again, even common sense).
Trump has plunged the nation into unprecedented debt in order to give tax-breaks to the wealthy – which includes himself, his family, and his friends – while increasing the financial burden on the hard-working middle-class who will ultimately have to pay down that debt.
Message received: Trump = Republicans. The GOP is the party of fiscal irresponsibility, and will gladly throw their fellow citizens under the bus in order to personally enrich themselves and their donors.
Because the Republicans have refused to speak out against the idiot they put in office, they own his idiocy. Because the Republicans have defended his lies, they own those lies. Because the Republicans have stood by in silence while their “pResident” boldly displays his stupidity, his lack of knowledge of domestic and global affairs, his treasonous conduct and his stunning ignorance – they own every last inch of the most dishonest, inept, corrupt administration our country has ever witnessed.
But the message HAS now been received by millions of voters. Trump = Republicans: racist, bigoted, misogynistic, self-serving, greed-driven hypocrites who – if elected – will laugh at the disabled, deport Dreamers, and kiss the NRA’s ass while your children are being gunned-down in their classrooms.
The Message has been received. And now is the time for Democrats (and everyone else concerned with the fate of our country) to spread that message far and wide.
