(22,037 posts)What if there were real journalists in the MSM who would report on Trump's tweets and logically and factually dissected them? An informed public would come to understand that his tweets demonstrate that he doesn't know anything about anything.
Mr. Bharara is a man I respect greatly and many of his tweets since he was fired have been stinging barbs with hints about what he knows. This tweet is sub-par for him.

(2,091 posts)What if....the media simply IGNORED Trump's tweets?
His tweets are powerful BECAUSE the media repeats them, amplifies them......
Sure he would have his loyal twitter followers. But each tweet would not extend beyond that number.
As it is, they have given Trump a megaphone
That's what I found. It's not official, then I official don't need to consider it part of my government.
I wish the media would just drop this stupidity. It makes our country look stupid, well more then ever before. Hell, Putin could be using a Trumps twitter account. Not visually seen by a outside source, didn't happen.

(11,175 posts)As we head into the campaign season, Trump can be counted on to send multiple tweets that will put Republican candidates on the hot spot. "Hey, Mr. Republican, do you agree with what Trump said this morning about _____?" The candidate agrees and looks as slimy as Trump, or disagrees and alienates the rabid MAGAites who then don't show up to vote, or dodges the question and looks spineless (as well as losing at least some support from the Trump loyalists and the decent people).
