not saying donnie is a russian agent; but if he *were* a russian agent,

it's kinda amazing to think that if russia had simply installed a puppet in the presidency, he would be doing almost exactly what donnie is actually doing.

- insult group after group of americans
- make americans hate other americans
- undermine nato commitments
- balloon the national debt
- piss away national wealth
- abandon trade treaties
- start trade wars
- insult allies
- undermine our world leadership
- undermine trust in our media
- undermine trust in our law enforcement
- try to provoke a useless war or two
- let the bureaucracy rot, leave positions unfilled and/or tie their hands

this is without getting into any speculation (never mind facts) about actual contacts or kompromat or business deals or whatever. just looking at actual on-the-job performance.

practically the only performance item that distinguishes donnie from putin's ideal puppet is that the sanctions haven't been completely lifted yet. not for lack of trying, though.

As long as you don't mind, that is --

I'm going to add it to the letter I'm composing for my miserable 3 RepubliCON MoC's. Fits right in. My first paragaph is likely to be something like this:

Where is your conscience? Where is your patriotism? Where is your concern for America's place in the world? For her future? For her children, and their children generations hence? Most importantly, where is your loyalty and adherence to your oath of office? WHAT WILL IT TAKE for the Republicans in Congress and the Senate to wake up and hold Trump accountable?

... for a couple of months with all my friends and relatives. It really can’t be countered.

The “make NATO members pay their fair share” is part of it too. Our big dog status in NATO is what has given us a lot of influence with and access to other governments. Small countries cooperated with our foreign policy objectives because we were the Alpha NATO nation. And they trusted us to act in sane, reasoned ways.

Now - they think we’re nuts, and that we are calling them “takers”. No longer trustworthy. No longer have their backs.

I can just hear Russia - in its best Barry White voice - saying “Heyyy, Lithuania. Man, it’s been a while. You look good. Real good. How have you been? That ol’ USA ain’t treating you as good as you deserve, baby”.

... Spanky McShithole has done everything exactly as Putin could have wished for - and then some.

Just to add to your (excellent) list:

- encouraging division between Americans on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, etc.
- inciting violence towards liberals, Democrats - and protecting the NRA-types who are the most likely to carry out that violence
- appointing Cabinet heads who clearly have no experience or expertise in the areas they are supposed to oversee
- choosing "advisors" who have zero knowledge about domestic/international affairs
- creating endless chaos in the administration by hiring/firing appointees on a regular basis
- keeping the nation (and the world) on tenterhooks by changing his mind on important issues from one minute to the next
- using the powers of his office to seek revenge on perceived personal enemies instead of using those powers to advance the betterment of the citizenry
- undoing everything and anything that Obama accomplished, regardless of the consequences
- taking every opportunity to vilify HRC, who Putin hates
- announcing pulling the US out of Syria - Putin's dream scenario

The list is truly endless. There is nothing Trump has said or done that doesn't advance Putin's agenda.

... that the removal of those sanctions is still a real possibility as long as Trump is in office.

No doubt Putie is biding his time, knowing that the longer Trump is in the WH, the more likely it is that he will get everything on his wish list before the Orange Anus is removed.

I often wonder how many betting pools there are in Russia these days, wagering on just how far they'll get before Mueller slams the hammer down on the Traitor-in-Chief.

seriously, other than failure to lift sanctions *yet*, there really doesn't seem to be a single thing that anyone can point to that suggests he isn't entirely on putin's side.

the most recent thing, making him rotate his spies, is pretty weak sauce. especially when spies hardly seem necessary when there's a puppet in the white house who divulges state secrets openly.
