Since the 70s, GOP billionaires have been building a propaganda machine designed to get votes for tax cuts for billionaires.
Fox, NY Post, Limbaugh, Hewitt, Levin, Drudge, Sinclair, Heritage, SPN, Cato/Koch, Bradley, Wash Examiner, Wash Times, WSJ, Boston Herald, Breitbart, IJR, Daily Caller, Newsmax, etc etc.

The goal of all those outlets, over the past 40 years: incite fear against minorities and immigrants and gays and liberals, to get the working class to hate anyone else besides the billionaire CEO and corporations that are screwing them.

But until two years ago, all those propaganda outlets pretended they weren't racist or hateful, because they needed to appeal to independents. But Trump just threw all that away and directly appealed to racists and xenophobes. And the GOP base loved it.

That's the reason he got elected. It's the fault of GOP billionaires that built a propaganda machine. It's not by chance, and it's not a big surprise.

But the good news is that if we stop the propaganda we can take our country back.
