The ultimate trump card with Trump is simply stuffing money in his pocket. Ask Vlad.

Everything is a game to him. Everything is all about his fragile, pathetic little ego. He has no idea how to lead and no clue about the job he has taken on. When are the republicans going to suck it up and realize the amount of damage the man can do in this world far outweighs their petty political ambitions? Get rid of him!

One only needs to walk through their own home... and count the items in it, that are "MADE IN CHINA"...
That is significant... and considering America HAS NOT made any move to 'Rebuild Industry In America", it HAS NOT made any move to make any means or push any legislation that puts Pressure on America Manufactuers to Open Up the shuttered plants that litter our Nation from Coast to Coast.

Where are the companies that make America Appliance?
Where are the companies that make American Apparal? ( he we can't even make socks, and no one is trying to get in sock making companies opened in America.
Where is the Farming Community, we have industrial farmers who ran small farmers out of business; why is there no revival to heavily invest in the American Small Farmer.

Are we blind to the fact that "FRESH WATER" is an issue that need Great Focus in America.
Where is the Tire Makers when we are a Nation that is Automobile Dependent. ( One poster put a link, saying we don't have high speed rail, because people "Drive their Automobiles"... then why are we "importing vehicle tires"? https://www.democraticunderground.com/100210451533#post12

When we are so poorly equipped to produce what we consume... a Trade War is not a suitable engagement"... FIRST, we make our system capable and able to Produce What We Consume.... then one might have a better position to invoke Tariffs.

I was in the store, and in the South, where "Catfish" has long been a given.. YET, the Grocery store is filled with "Catfish" IMPORTED from China. The same is true of Shrimp... and these are only a few example.

Go to any Clothing Store and check the tags on clothing ..... regardless of the Name Brand, it is "Made In Some Foreign Location"....

You set up Business and Increase Manufacturing In America...BEFORE one goes to economic war with those who dominate the supply of these things.

Then one "Invokes and Uphold Quota's on Imports.... that means hire more people at the "Ports" to do inspections, from any points of access.

We are worried about trying to keep Mexicans Out... while Truck Stream Across the Border, FILLED with Foreign Products from any and every place around the World. We have no control of "Quota's on Imports".....

The Chinese could easily start cashing in those T-bills they hold. That would force up interest rates and cost the Treasury $s by making annual bond interest payments higher.
