I just got a weird wingnutty survey in the mail.

It's from the Faith & Freedom Coalition (Ralph Reed's outfit), which apparently considers me to be one of "10,000,000 American Christians." How I wound up on their mailing list is beyond me, since I've never donated a nickel to any GOPer or right-wing cause, responded to surveys, or clicked on right-wing links on Facebook. I am not a churchgoer. I'd send the survey back with appropriate comments but the envelope isn't postage-prepaid and I don't want to waste a stamp on these douchenozzles.

Anyhow, they sound kind of nervous; they use a lot of capital letters, underlining and bold type (an indication of basic illiteracy, IMO) to say things like:

"The media, and the anti-Christian, anti-freedom Left are out for blood. They are openlt calling the 2018 Congressional Elections "The Impeachment Election" - because it they win majority control of Congress, they promise tho immediately launch IMPEACHMENT proceedings against President Trump.

And then, if they win back control of the Presidency, they will use the IRS, the FBI, the Justice Department and all the powers of the federal government to target and destroy Christians, conservatives and anyone who disagrees with their far-Left, anti-Christian, anti-freedom agenda. They will also pack the Supreme Court and America's federal courts with anti-Christian, anti-freedom, anti-America radicals."

And so on, for several pages. It's a bizarre sort of projection; they are obviously afraid that we in the "far Left" will do exactly what they've been doing (and yes, indeed, we'll impeach Trump's ugly orange ass if we get control of the House). It's an alternate universe, and the people who live in it really believe these things. It's both laughable and scary.

Did anybody else get this piece of manure in their mail? What should I do with it (it's too smooth to use as TP)? Ignore it? Respond appropriately even if it means sacrificing a stamp?

I've received two letters from the NRA. Similar hyperbolic wording.

I'm also receiving mail from Macy's even though I have never had an account there.

Maybe Macy's sold my info. to the NRA......
