Amongst other things, Republicans took six Governorships and lots of legislative seats in States controlled by Democrats.

2010 census, as well as the "stayed at home" factor.

Didn't Tom Delay go to jail over this?

First, the 2010 Census applied to the 2012 Election. We lost many of these seats in 2010.

Second, Statewide races aren't subject to gerrymandering.

believe that was really a thing. If the mythical Obama to trump voter comes from anywhere it came from that cohort of discontents. To think that some people want us to trust that this group of voters would be willing help us after already doubling down putting trump/gop in office and/or sitting the election out because they didn't like the Democratic message. I guess they felt safe enough in knowing that their rights weren't going to be the ones immediately put on the chopping block under this insane administration.

I have had to come to the conclusion that many are not who they say they are.

Or if they are, they are just really really stupid.

specifically to oppose Obama for his blackness.

Watch out for those who JUSTIFY their existence by BLAMING Obama for it.

I mean watch out for someone doing that, not you.
