First, the 2010 Census applied to the 2012 Election. We lost many of these seats in 2010.
Second, Statewide races aren't subject to gerrymandering.

(2,768 posts)believe that was really a thing. If the mythical Obama to trump voter comes from anywhere it came from that cohort of discontents. To think that some people want us to trust that this group of voters would be willing help us after already doubling down putting trump/gop in office and/or sitting the election out because they didn't like the Democratic message. I guess they felt safe enough in knowing that their rights weren't going to be the ones immediately put on the chopping block under this insane administration.
