House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) called on Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Scott Pruitt to resign on Friday after a series of damaging reports were published about the EPA chief.
In a statement on her website, Pelosi called on Republicans in Congress to hold Pruitt and other Cabinet members accountable for perceived ethical violations in their respective agencies.
EPA Administrator Scott Pruitts tenure has been a part of the Trump Administrations culture of corruption, cronyism and incompetence. Pruitt must resign," Pelosi said in the statement.
Multiple members of Trumps Cabinet are under federal investigation for graft, corruption and sticking taxpayers with the multi-million dollar bill for their extravagance and lavish lifestyles," she added.
Pelosi's statement comes after reports of Pruitts condo-rental agreement with the wife of an energy lobbyist and his spending on foreign travel.

(11,885 posts)But then again that's who trump likes the most. This whole administration is corrupt. The ones who trump can't corrupt, he fires them for someone else who is.

(23,946 posts)so calls for resignation over a little corruption is too much. OK a lot of corruption, so a ton of corruption...but are you not entertained??
Also, what if we are called fake news....we are scared?!

(82,849 posts)Call it out, keep calling it out, and don't back off. Say it over and over again. Then say it some more. This corruption shouldn't be allowed to slide by, just because the president isn't going to do squat-ah about it.
