WASHINGTON (AFP) -
US President Donald Trump teed up a fight with the World Trade Organization Friday, claiming the 164-country body was biased against the United States.
A day after China asked the WTO to referee a rapidly escalating trade fight with Washington, Trump questioned the organization's impartiality.
"China, which is a great economic power, is considered a Developing Nation within the World Trade Organization," he tweeted.
"They therefore get tremendous perks and advantages, especially over the U.S. Does anybody think this is fair. We were badly represented. The WTO is unfair to U.S."

The WTO was deliberately set up that way with full US government approval so that the US would, in effect, provide foreign aid to underdeveloped countries without it having to be appropriated by Congress.

Good God, if he doesn't get his way and can't bully others to get his way, he wails about fairness. Is that the type of "leadership" his cult believes is good?

If the US isn't dominantly kicking everyone's ass, they are going to find something about which to be angry.
You know who isn't buying this talk? The investors and the people who manage investments for others. That's who.
Sometimes i actually think these one day downturns are the way Wall Street sends a message of "pump the brakes."
