Treasury says it's freezing the US assets of the guys and firms on this list, and baring Americans from doing business with them. That is serious for Vekselberg. His conglomerate, the Renova Group, which is on the list, has a US subsidiary. And he owns property in NYC. . . .

His Bank of Cyprus ties to Wilbur Ross remain one of those "hiding in plain sight" scandals that have been crowded out amidst so much corruption.
