General Discussion

Hannity seems to be enjoying his sanctimonious war on Jimmy Kimmel, whom he's calling "Weinstein Jr." as he outrageously compares Jimmy's shtick on The Man Show years ago to Weinstein's assaults and harassment.
And Hannity probably thinks this feud will really help his ratings now -- something he needs, with Rachel Maddow beating him.
But Hannitty's probably lobbing all those rocks from a very fragile glass house.
As I posted in another thread
https://www.democraticunderground.com/100210459623
Debbie Schlussel, a conservative lawyer and former Fox News contributor, described Hannity's creepy behavior toward her (including asking her more than once to go to his hotel room and dropping her from his show after she declined).
Her comments about Hannity got some media attention last year, though she later tried to downplay it by saying she'd been misunderstood as calling it sexual harassment, and she wouldn't use that precise term, though she considered it creepy and inappropriate (and IMO most people would have called it sexual harassment).
I think it's very unlikely she was the only woman Hannity went after this way. Married men who make creepy and inappropriate advances toward women they work with and have some power over tend to repeat that behavior.
And if there are other women Hannity harassed and victimized out there, then they're now being treated to his sanctimonious performances calling Jimmy Kimmel a pervert.
This is the sort of thing that often leads women who might otherwise stay silent to finally speak out...

(49,041 posts)if he's preying on any women there. Schlussel's story about him suggests he is.

(49,041 posts)Most of the women at Fox who were harassed by O'Reilly, Ailes and others would have held conservative, even RWNJ, political views.
