Panama says it won't intervene to help Trump with hotel dispute
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-panama-trump/panama-says-it-wont-intervene-to-help-trump-with-hotel-dispute-idUSKBN1HG382
In March, legal representatives of the Trump Organization wrote to Panama President Juan Carlos Varela asking him to help the group in its fight over ownership of the 70-floor hotel complex, according to a letter seen by Reuters.
The letter from a law firm, dated March 22, asks Varela to use his influence and alleges that its due process rights had been violated.
But the Panamanian vice president said on Monday that getting involved in the dispute would be outside the governments remit.
I dont think that the executive branch has a position to take while this issue is in process in the judicial branch, Vice President Isabel Saint Malo told reporters.

America saw the beginning of the end of the dt admin. (I refuse to type his name or capitalize it.) We have a world to advance. Folks look to us for hope far beyond our borders. Canada, britain, Australia, France, Germany, Japan and others have invested a lot in doing their best to be good allies. Even when it hurt, and was against everything they believed in. (Iraq?) We owe it to these people too to get our house in order. Thank the gods for yesterdays news.
