Laura Ingraham Blasts 'Speech Czars' on the Left: They're 'Stalinist'

The Fox News host stormed back after a weeklong break and ad boycott, blasting critics of her mockery of David Hogg by saying they were attempting to silence her.

Laura Ingraham lashed out Monday night in a fiery monologue at activists who supported an advertising boycott of her show last month, saying they were attempting to stifle free speech.

Well over a dozen advertisers pulled ads from The Ingraham Angle following her tweet mocking Parkland shooting victim and 17-year-old gun control activist David Hogg’s college rejection letters.

After a weeklong hiatus from the show, Ingraham returned on Monday. Although she did not address her mockery of Hogg, she railed against “speech czars” on the left who she claimed wanted to silence politically disagreeable ideas.

“Their efforts are Stalinist, pure and simple,” she said. “Their objective is a total transformation of American society, not through rational discourse and open debate, but through personal demonization and silencing.”

While she previously apologized in a tweet to the Parkland survivors, Ingraham was far less conciliatory on Monday.

No, Laura, it's just capitalism. And these private for-profit companies don't want to be associated with you.

Maybe Mr. Pillow can advertise on your show.

Why would anyone with commercial aspirations hitch their wagon to your nonsensical program?

Remember all those "left" wing singers who Ingraham shouted down and sneered to "shut up and sing" rather than broadcasting their political views?

Now this hypocritical whining piece of garbage is sobbing her free speech is being trampled when she intentionally, deliberately and gleefully attempted to do the same to others.

Go fuck yourself, Ingraham, and enjoy being out of a job soon.

We simply MUST do what it takes to chop down this 30 year right-wing propaganda machine.

Our public AM radio is now nothing more than a fucking 24/7 infomercial for CONservative Bullshit.

I'm hoping that soon the "free market" is going to rise the fuck up and smack the ever loving shit out of these 1200 cockamamie ass-hatted Radio stations.

Considering their policies, and how they have historically fucked up everything from our economy to our standing in the world, you wouldn't be able to find 2 Retrumplicans to rub together in a Rest Stop men's room if it weren't for these radio stations.

economic choices (where we spend money) also free speech? Therefore it is OUR FREE SPEECH to call companies we do business with and ask them why they spend money advertising on her show.

She has free speech. No one stopped her from speaking. In fact, no one stopped Fox from amplifying her speech well beyond the reach we have for our speech. Free speech does not guarantee that you can command media to play it AND it certainly does not guarantee that no one can respond to it by calling you or the company that broadcasts you out ... or that convinces companies that they do not want to be associated with you.

Her problem is not that there is too little free speech, but that we used OUR free speech VERY VERY WELL.

Upon the release of a book she "wrote." She went on every talk show she could to promote her book, complaining at every stop how she was being silenced.
