3. 45 is not a sane, resonable person.

It doesn't matter that is should be suicide. What matters is if the GOP led congress would do anything about it.

I'm not sure Ryan and McConnell would do squat about it.

Mueller is smart enough to know it is coming though. That's why he handed off the Cohen thing to another prosecutor. Of course, 45 already fired Preet Bharara from that position for getting too close. Still, firing every prosecutor who is investigating you and your associates looks pretty bad.

4. It would require the complicit Republican

Congress and their Leadership to actually DO SOMETHING. But we're dealing with the bunch that defaults to no-action "thoughts and prayers" and who gleefully and greedily put Party over Country. If Mueller is fired there should be massive, non-violent street protests and demonstrations by citizens that dwarf any of the marches we've seen recently.
