GOOD GOD SOMEONE FINALLY SAID IT OUT LOUD!!!

context:

WASHINGTON – Today Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and RNC Finance Chairman Steve Wynn announced additional members of the RNC’s Finance leadership team:

“I am delighted to announce the addition of these longtime friends of the Party and supporters of this administration to our Finance leadership team,” said Chairwoman McDaniel. “Elliott Broidy, Michael Cohen, and Louis DeJoy will serve as National Deputy Finance Chairmen, and Brian Ballard, Bob Grand, Gordon Sondland, Geoff Verhoff, and Ron Weiser will serve as Regional Vice-Chairmen. Together this team will employ their extraordinary talent and understanding of Americans across the country to maintain and build upon our unprecedented fundraising success.”

"Our team is dedicated to the goal of increasing the number of Republican senators and representatives in the Congress, with the firm belief that all Americans will enjoy the benefits of a better future," said Chairman Wynn. "The challenge of guiding a swollen and overreaching government to a position that serves its citizens in a truly efficient manner will be best served by the leadership our team hopes to achieve."

I think Mr. Mueller is finding, through the investigation of Manafort/Gates/Cohen, that numerous foreign nationals laundered campaign contributions for Trump through various Republicans and their organizations (e.g. NRA et al). Some of that information will be found in the documents seized today.

Cohen has said it. Paul Ryan has said it. Trump has said it, referring to his own real family, and others.

It really seems like a mob family with associates and hit men.

in so many ways.

Overall, republicans are engaged in absolute BETRAYAL not just of America and the truth, but also in absolute BETRAYAL of all that is good and decent.

republican moral and ethical rot is total.

Hillary Clinton used the term back in 1998, and it wasn't a joke. Most people did, however, laugh at it. They had not yet connected the dots.

Who somehow managed a reduced sentence by turning evidence against the very people he bribed.

So, in summary:
two of three RNC financial vice-chairs have been either raided by the FBI and/or arrested and convicted of crimes.

Intertwined and the only out they have is saying they knew nothing about it even though they deposited the checks in their bank.

They are becoming the subjects of an investigation in a system they used themselves to be unkind to others.

Ronnie kind of warned them and said it himself

Panama Papers, Paradise Papers.

Back in the dark ages (10+ years ago) the only organizations that could sift through those mounds of data were the intelligence communities.

Now, each one of us can download public datasets with named names, organizations, dates, addresses, and linkages between them. While this is a huge task, there are lots of eager researchers poring over this type of material.

I'm not sure how "they" can shut us up anymore. Knowledge is power.

When all those Republicans stayed to oddly quiet, no outrage at all. It leads me to think there are a lot of dirty hands out there. That is an old trick , that is how you get people to stay quiet include them in on the action and then they can't speak up.

It's becoming obvious that money from foreign interests can find its way into our political campaigns without coming into the sunlight or being reported. I would suspect that billionaires and corporations around the globe are doing this and in some very sinister ways. They've probably been doing this for decades.

Not only do we need to reverse Citizens United to keep American campaign dollars relatively clean and to limit undue influence of the wealthy, I believe we also need a system in place that tests the original source of all moneys applied to campaigns.

Our current system of finding out about foreign funding purely by accident is not protecting our democracy.
