(59,503 posts)He also liked a comment calling Kerry a traitor. I assume that BOTH Clinton and Kerry will speak to him and give him the best advice they have on any situation they are asked of. They are patriots.
I remember a podcast where Heather Higgenbottom, a long term Kerry aide, spoke with surprise that Tillerson failed to speak to Kerry or anyone else from the Obama State Department. The norm is that everyone speaks at least to their predecessor.
Consider both Hillary and Kerry spoke to many Republican SoS - including Kissinger. There were many here who faulted it them for doing so. However, there is never a downside to listening -- and some insight could help them on the current problems.
