At the White House press briefing on Tuesday, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders dismissed a question about if President Donald Trump has considered stepping down.
No and I think thats an absolutely ridiculous question, she said to American Urban Radio Networks April Ryan before moving on to another reporter.
Sanders also went to great lengths to separate the President from the FBIs Monday raid of the properties of his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen. This doesnt have anything to do with the President and I would refer you to Michael Cohen and his attorney, she said. When it comes to matters of the special counsel and dealings with the President, weve been fully cooperative.

(50,273 posts)he probably wouldn't have engaged in his "let's run for president" reality show. His secrets were secret before. They won't be now and some are likely of a criminal nature. He might not go to the big house now, but he won't be in the White House forever . . . we hope.

(42,862 posts)... she's just got this sour attitude. Her side-eye glance turns a glass fresh milk into cottage cheese! Being of a certain size myself, I won't make any cheap shots about her weight... but I WILL mention that she makes HORRIBLE choices in makeup, hair and clothes. It's as if she wants to ACCENTUATE every one of her unattractive features that ought to be softened. I just cringe at the sight of her.

(115,702 posts)although she is - but that's not important; after all, they say politics is show business for ugly people - it's that she's aggressively unattractive, as if she's making a point of being unpleasant to look at and listen to (her voice could curdle gin) so nobody will pay attention to the substance, or the lack of substance, of her remarks. She's a sort of Medusa; you look at her and turn to stone. It does surprise me that a president who is so concerned about appearances doesn't send her to someone who can choose clothes for her that don't look like she got them at a Pentacostal church rummage sale, as well as to someone who can do makeup that de-emphasizes the halibut-like aspect of her eyes.

(13,390 posts)If it came down to it, I think Trump would prefer the media circus of impeachment. I can see him bragging about having more viewers than Bill Clinton.
