Mitt Romney Spokesman Tells Reporters ‘Kiss My ***’ at Polish Holy Site

Nothing but grace and charm, that campaign.

WARSAW, Poland – A Mitt Romney spokesman reprimanded reporters traveling with the candidate on his six-day foreign trip this morning, telling them to “kiss my a**” after they shouted questions from behind a rope line.

As Romney left the site of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw and walked toward his motorcade parked in Pilsudski Square, reporters began shouting questions from the line where campaign staffers had told them to stay behind, prompting traveling press secretary Rick Gorka to tell a group of reporters to “kiss my a**” and “shove it.”

He later apologized.

Three stops on the tour:

London: Questions the UK's readiness for the Olympics, offends an entire nation and lets slip that he had a classified security briefing.

Israel: Lauds national health care plan, questions the economic cultural bona fides of the Palestinians, announces intention to shut reporters out from fund raiser to which they were told they would have access.

Poland: Press tires of "petting zoo" treatment, earns expletives from Romney press aide.

The sad part is they will still kiss his ass. But even these bootlickers won't be able to spin this trip as anything but a failure.

I mean you would think Presidential type behavior wouldn't be "Kiss my ***"

Yes I know it wasn't Romney, but it was someone traveling with his entourage while he is running for President.
Someone Romney chose to represent him when talking to the press. He's Press Secretary right? You would think he would have better control.
Doesn't sound like Presidential etiquette.

12. More Baiting The Media...

Jul 2012

Appears the real target in this stage of the campaign is the corporate media. Mittens is getting a lot of "negative press" that is being read by the great unhinged as an attack...or so Willard's people hope. The more the "librul media" piles on the hope is the more Rmoney consolidates his hold on the ABO vote.

I expect more "incidents" in the weeks ahead as we know Willard has no positions on issues other than "I'm not Obama" and crusades as the 21st century "Great White Hope"...

Stories like that take the wind out of the sails of the "liberal" media being out to get him. I'm leaning toward his little foreign tour having been such a disaster his press relations has honestly had a meltdown.

It looks like Rick Gorka forgot his own demand on reporters with his profane shouts. This happened in the parking lot outside the tomb so the reporters questions in that setting should have been fine. Granted, Romney's own performance on this trip has made Gorka's job difficult, but give me a break, this was completely uncalled for.

From the linked article:

Gorka told reporters asking questions to “show some respect.”

“This is a holy site for the Polish people,” he added.

“We haven’t had another chance to ask a question,” one reporter noted to Gorka.

Gorka told another journalist to “shove it.”

This is the video of an aide AND Romney accosting Glen Johnson of AP for having the audacity to ask a question that Romney didn't like. And.. it's the "show some respect..." thing. They treat the media like shit, regardless of the location.

The "Mittness Protection Program" is in full swing.

after all Romney is saying "kiss my ass" regarding his tax returns - Gorka is just a sycophantic little twerp following suite.

As for respect - it is only one sided - don't you know that we people should be sooooooooo respectful to the mighty Mitt.

My friends it's a blunder to ask
All of the time , what can I say
I don't feel the need to give such secrets away
you think maybe I need to tell, no
I know I'm right all right

I'm just better off not listening to friends advice
When they insist on blowing my bliss, I tell them this
When they want to know what the reason is
I only smile when alive and I tell them why

(Because your kiss)
Your kiss is on my list
(Because your kiss)
Your kiss is on my list
Because
(Your kiss is on my list)
Of the best things in life

(Because your kiss)
Your kiss is on my list
(Because your kiss)
Your kiss I can't resist
(Because your kiss is what I miss)
When I turn off the light

I go crazy wondering what there is to really see
Did the night just take up your time
'Cause it means more to me
Sometimes I forget what I'm doing
I don't forget what I want, I want

Regret what I've done, regret you, I couldn't go on
But if you insist on blowing my bliss, I'll tell you this
If you want to know what the reason is
I only smile when alive, then I'll tell you why

(Because your kiss)
Your kiss is on my list
(Because your kiss)
Your kiss is on my list

(Because your kiss)
