I was off that day, living beachside, and planning to enjoy a beautiful day enjoying the ocean. Solly Mack Apr 2018 #6

I was home waiting for the results of the MRI. I was watching CNN and they broke in with this story. Pretty much watched the whole day.

About noon, i got a call saying the MRI showed i had MS.

So, both personal and extrinsic events made this a memorable day for me.

An act of terrorism by someone who was a racist and would have likely voted for the POS in the White House.

Instead I sat, joined to the television. Dressed and ready to go, the news was on, and I stopped all movement as soon as it was reported.

Sorrow, disgust, and a sense of disbelief.

Such horror was incongruous with the blue sky, warm weather, and comforting breeze of a perfect day. It was a day meant for celebrating life - not taking it.

I sat, frozen. Glued to the screen. In tears.
