If President Obama is a muslim please explain this to me

Why did he and his wife attend Reverend Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ for 20 years? I have a hard time understanding the thought pattern of a clown who will condemn the President for being a decades-long member of a Christian Church in one breath and then condemn him for being of another religion in the next.
