I weep for literacy. I realize that things like spelling are often considered quite nonessential, and there are stupid things out there in which every single word is misspelled and the point is that a literate person can still read and understand, but given how much mockery is cast here on misspelled or mispunctuated signs that the Right puts up, my intention isn't to mock but to wish people everywhere would pay attention to things like spelling. And contractions. And punctuation. And grammar. And word usage.

Randomly dropping apostrophes in words makes the writer look dumb.
