(25,861 posts)It's the apostrophe in the wrong place. Your'e vs you're.
Unfortunately, it makes the sign maker looking dumb.

(25,861 posts)Dumb relative to those who actually know there is no such word as your'e.

(25,861 posts)I weep for literacy. I realize that things like spelling are often considered quite nonessential, and there are stupid things out there in which every single word is misspelled and the point is that a literate person can still read and understand, but given how much mockery is cast here on misspelled or mispunctuated signs that the Right puts up, my intention isn't to mock but to wish people everywhere would pay attention to things like spelling. And contractions. And punctuation. And grammar. And word usage.
Randomly dropping apostrophes in words makes the writer look dumb.

(51,608 posts)Most people know it as "We don't need no education...". It was the theme for my senior year in high school.
I made an anti-wall sign for the protest I attended near the border in San Diego a month ago that had his orange face/eyes peeking out from an empty "brick in the wall".

(7,968 posts)just imagine for a moment if the "sex" of the circumstances were interchanged. Would you say exactly the same?
Misandry goes without comment and is accepted in our current culture but it is not acceptable to me.
