CBS News reporting Trumps doctor under investigation for drinking on the job and doling out meds

The Hoarse Whisperer @HoarseWisperer 8:38 PM - Apr 23, 2018

CBS News reporting that Trump’s joke of a doctor, Ronny Jackson, is under investigation for drinking on the job and doling out meds improperly.

Well, the drinking might explain the press conference where he described Trump like a young Michael Phelps.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/top-senate-dem-on-veterans-affairs-asks-for-delay-in-ronny-jacksons-confirmation-hearing/

The ranking Democrat on the Senate Veterans Affairs committee is reviewing allegations he's hearing about Ronny Jackson, the White House physician and President Trump's pick to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs. It was unclear late Monday whether the Senate panel would postpone Jackson's confirmation hearing, which was scheduled for Wednesday, in light of stories about the nominee told by current or former White House medical staff.

Sources familiar with the tales say Sen. Jon Tester's committee staff is reviewing multiple allegations of a "hostile work environment." The accusations include "excessive drinking on the job, improperly dispensing meds," said one of the people familiar, who was granted anonymity to speak frankly about the situation. The other people familiar with the stories also confirmed those details.

If proven true, "it'll sink his nomination," said one of the sources.

Tester's office began hearing the allegations from current and former employees in the last several days and over the weekend, said one of the people familiar with the ongoing probe.

What exactly is an appropriate level of drinking on the job? ANY job, let alone a physician -- the White House physician.

He's not qualified for VA, but I can't help but feel sorry for him a bit. NOT if he actually DRANK on the job, mind you, but I don't think he ever wanted the VA spot, but was (it seems) oblivious to how to handle Trump, tried to walk a very thin line in terms of his ridiculous fawning health report, and is as politically non-astute as I am (I HATE Political games in any workplace).

If he was doling out controlled drugs, he's sunk professionally for all time. I will say that if it was non-narcotic, non-controlled, but prescription drugs like antibiotics or Ambien, he's probably among the majority of physicians who do that if they have any personal relationship they can "stretch" into a professional one at all. Not saying that is right, just exceedingly common.. Controlled drugs, though--he's sunk and SHOULD be.

Right now, not knowing the details, I sort of feel sorry for him. He is so OVER HIS HEAD in all this, I think his reputation is going to decimated.

The POD Save America guys said they liked him and that he was a good doctor. Of course they had concerns about his running a large organization but as far as his doctor skills, they had nothing but praise.

This is quid pro quo for the "clean" bill of health he gave Trump. Trump IMO offered the VA job for a positive health report.

The doctor should have realized that Trump is radioactive ANYONE who gets near him will get poisoned.
