What explains it? What can possibly explain it?
Trump. Ryan. Name after name of inanity. Republicans supporting a child molester. Fiscal conservatives passing a budget with the largest deficit in United States history? Law-and0order types going after our chief law enforcement officials. Evangelicals overlooking the tenets of their religion to support a clearly non-religious man. Women supporting a sexual predator. Etc. Etc.
What? What can explain such a overwhelming series of contradictions and people ignoring a lifetime ideology?
